Spending Review hits social housing
News broke this morning of the proposed changes to social housing.
No longer will tenants have a secure tenancy; no longer will there be as much money spent on social housing.
If this goes ahead, it only spells more misery for those on low incomes and disadvantaged in some way.
But, it’s not all doom and gloom as there may be dissent between the coalition parties. Simon Hughes is reported as saying that Liberal Democrats don’t support this change in social housing policy.
